The West Virginia Soccer Association State Referee Program is pleased to announce that the West Virginia Young Referee Academy will coincide with the Little General Darrell Moore Memorial Soccer Tournament in Beckley on May 11 - 13, 2018.

Robyn Johns
This is a great opportunity for young referees to gain experience in a safe environment under the mentorship of seasoned officials.  As a member of the Young Referee Academy, you are invited to attend a weekend of fun and camaraderie working alongside experienced officials who can help improve your skills as a referee.  The mark of a great referee is one who always seeks to learn something new about themselves as an official no matter how experienced or good they are.  Learning is a lifetime process.  Always keep learning!

The guest instructor once again will be Robyn Johns, who hails form Australia and currently lives in The Bronx, New York.  Her experience and enthusiasm of what it's like to be a confident official will keep you entertained and engaged.

Accommodations and food will be provided for you throughout the tournament.  This is a great opportunity to learn and make some money while making friends that can last a lifetime . Please join us!  We have a special WV Youth Referee Academy shirt for all youth referees who sign up to attend the academy.  Wear it proudly and know that you took an extra step to learn how to become a better referee!

It's gonna be fun!  Hope to see you there!
